As opposed to traditional silk, Silk Noil is made with it’s gummy protein “sericin” included. This produces a nubbly matte yarn with beautiful texture. The feel is soft against the skin with a gentle drape. Linen is added for strength and water absorbency. At 6.5 oz/yard, this fabric has a substantial feel while keeping you cool. 62% Raw Silk/38% Linen. Woven in Japan. Made in a very small run.
